I launched this "Flying Rainbow Herats" in coloured pencil medium on museum mount cards 25 x 20 cm in 2005, I must have done over 100 units, these cards are not sold by me, but are offered as a jesture of appreciation to people who have supported my art work in the process of promoting my art. So if you have seen one, you will know that its a work of pure love.

A " Flying Red Heart" , acrylic on reversed canvas 14x22cm, 2004. This small item stands alone as an ellement, in a wooden frame 20x28x4cm, I did 2 sets of 20 hearts each set.
Some as in this picture include "Blue Eyes" with white spots [symbolizing light] on its wings, known as the "Mati", beware its a good omen, that protects you. The background has the feeling of movement.

These are several Hearts projects developed in 1999 as a joint venture with www.monohoro.gr , Tempera on Paper, 25x35cm.

The ideas were for a greek corporation, that wanted to offer its staff a gift for participating in the companies blood donation program.

Each item would be done by hand. Unfortunatly like many art project ideas it never got launched.

These Ideas were just several from a dozen or so, that were on the table as propositions, they never got a second chance, to get to a mature developed level.

These are my first hand cut Hearts, 7/10th of a mm in copper plate [these hearts had no wings atached], they are heat oxidized, I developed the metal idea in 1999, these items stand 25-35cm tall. The concept of final work and finish was done at Ericos Aidinis art work shop in the spring of 2000, @ Nikis 32 down town Athens.

This was the begining of a mutual friendship between us, that started around the heart as a universal man-made symbol, recognised throught history and especially woman.

Ericos and I developed several units and before this 20 units in brass plates 1mm thick, that were laser cut for the first time, but the feeling was too industrial and was abanded. Several different variations and sizes, were developed while several were also painted latter on in acrylic paints and other mediums.

The items never got sold to the original corporate account as a business gift, I had developed the idea based on my symbols in my artwork, the heart and its varieties of metaphor applications were first introduced in my paintings during the early 90's, after my first exhibition at Dada Art Gallery in the spring of 1992, but the items did sell well at retail through Ericos Aidinis art shop.

This I found in my "Box of Ideas" must be 1998 when I had a client who liked the concept, developed the idea, its a 3D "plaster of paris" element/object d'art that stands 25cm tall on brass wire siting in black marble. Project never took off. Thou the next verison had added white wings and was well painted in Reds, I will find it and post at a latter date.

Their are moments in ones life, where you jot down in little doodles and similar small sketches of the uttering mind; that when collected can breach a great concept. An Idea that when worked over and over as a research paper in the minds deepest library; will create a new visual voice, a vision for humankinds purpose to continue. These are the dreadful small doodles that creep out on to paper notes and finally in great spaces of open viewing. From your rooms/studio wall, to your agent art gallery, to a private collectors portfolio fund or to a museum.
